Guests enjoyed a light continental breakfast before the presentation by VP of Marketing, Laureen Peck followed by Senior Solar Analyst, Brent Cotton. Topics covered included the impact of renewable energy, installation evaluation, financing options, state tax credits, return on investment and laws and regulations.
In addition to the presentation, workshop participants received an information package and free gifts including a biodegradable Frisbee. Those who were interested in going solar were offered a non-advertised special.
Due to the heavy rain, roof tours were not conducted however that didn’t seem to quell the enthusiasm of everyone in attendance. Ninety-six percent of workshop attendees gave the workshop an “excellent” rating on the post workshop evaluation forms. Here are a few of the comments attendees added to their form:
“Excellent session.” “The workshop was very informative. Thank you!” “All good. Not enough time!”
Solar Energy World plans to have another workshop in September or October of 2015.
