On December 6th, Corey Ramsden of Solar United Neighbors bestowed Bryan Hacker, Vice President of Sales for Solar Energy World with the Excellent Installer Award to recognize the excellent customer service, paired with timely and high-quality completion of solar installations for a large group of homeowners during the co-op celebration at Waredaca Brewing Company in Gaithersburg, MD. The Montgomery County co-op selected Solar Energy World through a competitive proposal process over seven other companies to expand solar access to Maryland residents by educating them about the benefits of distributed solar energy, helping them organize group solar installations, and strengthening the state’s solar policies and its community of solar supporters. By going solar as a group and choosing a single installer, each participant generally saves up to 20% off the cost of their system.
