Terms & Conditions

Every homeowner’s situation is different, so we need to take a look at your roof, which direction your home is facing and run the numbers to see how we can best make solar work for you. However, based on current customer data, 50-100% savings on utility costs is typical for homeowners who own their solar systems and 20-30% savings on utility costs is typical for homeowners who have a Solar Lease or PPA (Power Purchase Agreement).

Results may vary for you based on your electricity usage, type of panel, financing choice and other factors. Your Solar Energy World representative will provide you with a detailed cost/benefit analysis as part of your customized solar estimate based on your specific needs, so you can make an informed decision.

Communications

Solar Energy World may communicate with you via email, phone, or text (SMS) messages. By providing your contact information, you consent to receive communications relevant to your account, services, or interactions with Solar Energy World

Text/SMS Communications
By providing your phone number, you consent to receive text (SMS) messages from Solar Energy World, including but not limited to:

  • Marketing and promotional information on our current products, services, and offerings.
  • Appointment confirmations, reminders, and scheduling changes.
  • Updates on service tickets, technical issues, or account information.
  • Notifications regarding service-related updates.

Message Frequency
Message frequency may vary based on your interactions with us, but we aim to keep communications relevant and necessary to your account and/or initial inquiry.

Opt-In Consent
Consent to receive text messages will be collected explicitly through an opt-in web form. By opting in, you confirm that you are the authorized user of the phone number provided.

Opt-Out Instructions
You may withdraw your consent and stop receiving text messages at any time by replying “STOP” to any text message you receive from us. Upon opting out, you will receive a final confirmation message to acknowledge your request.

Fees and Charges
Solar Energy World does not charge for text messages; however, standard message and data rates as determined by your mobile carrier may apply. Please contact your carrier for details.

Data Use and Privacy
Your information is protected under our Privacy Policy, and we will not share your phone number or any related information with third parties for marketing purposes. We adhere to all applicable privacy and communication laws, ensuring your data is handled responsibly.

Disclaimer
Text messaging is not a guaranteed delivery method. While we strive for timely and accurate delivery, delays or failures may occur due to network availability or other factors beyond our control.

Customer Referral Program Terms

Under the Customer Referral Program, both the referring customer and the referred homeowner are eligible to receive a $500 Prepaid Mastercard® Debit Card when the referred homeowner purchases and installs a qualifying solar energy system with Solar Energy World. 

Eligibility: 

  • One $500 Prepaid Mastercard Debit Card will be awarded to the referring customer and one $500 Prepaid Mastercard Debit Card will be awarded to the referred homeowner for each qualifying installation. 
  • Select referring customers may qualify for enhanced referral rewards exceeding $500 based on customer status, promotional offers, partnership programs, or other eligibility criteria as determined by Solar Energy World. Enhanced reward eligibility, if applicable, will be communicated in advance and is subject to change without notice. 
  • The referred homeowner must be a new Solar Energy World customer. 
  • The referred homeowner is not eligible for the referral reward if they purchase through a discount buying program, affinity group, or other promotional channel that prohibits participation in referral incentives. 
  • Referrals must be submitted through an approved Solar Energy World referral method and identified prior to contract signing. 

Reward Fulfillment: 

  • Referral rewards will be issued after the referred customer’s system has been installed and granted Permission to Operate (PTO) by the local utility. 
  • Rewards will be delivered electronically within 4–6 weeks after PTO is received. 
  • Solar Energy World will notify recipients before rewards are sent. 
  • Rewards will be sent via email from giftcards@solarenergyworld.com. Recipients should check their spam or junk folders if the email is not received. 
  • If total annual referral rewards exceed IRS guidelines, you will be required to  report as taxable income.  We will notify you and collect all required information if this occurs. 

Additional Terms: 

  • Limit one referral reward per qualifying installation unless otherwise specified by a promotional offer. 
  • The promotional Prepaid Mastercard Debit Card cannot be redeemed for cash, exchanged for a check, or transferred. 
  • Solar Energy World reserves the right to determine eligibility for all referral rewards and to modify, suspend, or terminate this program at any time without prior notice. 
  • Void where prohibited by law.

Current Offers Terms

  • Offers cannot be combined or added to other discounts or specials previously proposed by a company representative.
  • Offers are not available retroactively to current customers.
  • Only one offer valid per purchase.
  • Offers do not include battery backup unless explicitly stated. However, if you are interested in battery, please let your solar analyst know because battery backup is available with your solar panel installation. To learn more about our battery products, click HERE.
  • RateGuardian (TM) PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) is not available to Virginia, Delaware, Florida residents. However, the $0 Down Solar lease works the same way and can be substituted for PPA in Florida. Unfortunately, due to Virginia, Delaware’s regulations, solar companies cannot offer PPAs or Leases in those states, but solar ownership is permitted. Solar Energy World offers excellent financing terms for purchase, including a $0 Down option.
  • Energy Shield: there are three tiers to this offer, listed below. Pricing is subject to change, and actual cost may vary depending on financing options.
    • Essential: 6kW system size, 15 solar panels, 1 Tesla Power Wall 3, system cost: $35,000
    • Plus: 10kW system size, 25 solar panels, 1 Tesla Power Wall 3, system cost: $46,000
    • Premium: 14kW system size, 35 solar panels, 1 Tesla Power Wall 3, system cost: $57,400
