Introduction
Solar Energy World, LLC (“SEW,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) knows you care about your privacy and the protection of your personal information. When the Privacy Policy Applies
This Privacy Policy applies to the information we collect when you use or interact with our websites, mobile apps, sales and marketing channels, customer support, installation and service operations, and products and services we provide or reference in this Policy (services). It also applies to information we receive from third parties, including leads and referrals. This Policy does not apply to non-SEW products, services, websites, or applications that you access through our platforms. It also does not apply where we process your personal information at the direction of business clients for whom we provide services where you have a relationship with those business clients. Instead, the privacy policies of those other parties will apply.

How We Collect It
We collect information directly from you when you request a quote, create an account, communicate with us, purchase and pay for our products or participate in programs such as referrals. We also collect information automatically when you use our websites, apps, or connected equipment and platforms, such as device identifiers, IP address, app activity, and telemetry related to your solar and battery systems. We receive information about you from third parties, including purchased lead providers, advertising and analytics partners, social platforms, and friends or family who refer you to us.

We use the information we collect to provide our services and communicate with you. We also use it to improve our services, develop new products and services, give recommendations, deliver personalized consumer experiences (including marketing and advertising for our own and others products and services), investigate fraud and other illegal activities, and to ensure a secure online environment.

SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS
You may interact with parts of our services that cause information to be published to your social networks. For example, you may click on a Facebook “like” button, which publishes to your Facebook account that you “like” one of our services. On those parts of our websites with social network functionality, a social network may be able to collect information about you. For example, if a page contains a Facebook “like” button, Facebook may be able to collect data about your visit to that page, even if you don’t click on the “like” button. ADVERTISING PARTNERS

NON-SEW APPS AND PARTNERS
Certain services enable you to interact directly with technology provided by other companies, such as using a non-SEW app to monitor battery charge, energy usage, etc. through our services or accessing our services through another company’s platform or device. When you use our services in connection with any technology provided by another company, you are directing us to interact with that company and that company may collect information from you and our services. We may also disclose personal information to third party partners to the extent you elect to participate in programs such as reward programs. This Privacy Policy does not cover the privacy practices of other companies. For more information about how those companies use your information, please review their privacy policies.
CONSUMER REPORTING AGENCIES
We disclose information that personally identifies you to consumer reporting agencies that may be subject to other laws, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act. These disclosures may include information that helps validate your identity, such as your name, current and former addresses, contact information, Social Security number, government-issued identifiers, your payment history and account status, and other identifying information.
Potential Purchasers of Our Business

How Long We Keep Your Information
We retain your personal information for different periods of time depending on the type of information and our business and legal requirements. For example, if you are a customer, we may retain information that identifies you for as long as we have an ongoing relationship with you, including during the installation, operation, monitoring, or servicing of your solar system.
If you no longer have an active relationship with us, we may still retain certain information as necessary to meet business and legal obligations, such as complying with warranty requirements, maintaining system performance records, protecting against fraud, calculating taxes, or responding to legal or regulatory requests.
Some information is deleted automatically after a specific period of time, often based on legal retention requirements, unless we are legally required to retain it longer, such as in connection with litigation, audits, or regulatory inquiries. When personal information is no longer needed in an identifiable form, we securely destroy it or de-identify or anonymize it.
TCPA Compliance
By providing your name or contact information through this website, including the online quote request form, or by requesting a quote or other information from Solar Energy World, LLC, you are giving us your express consent to be contacted by or on behalf of Solar Energy World, LLC. This consent, as defined by the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, 47 U.S.C. § 227 (the “TCPA”) or any state law derivative of or supplemental to the TCPA, including, but not limited to, Florida Telephone Solicitation Act, Fla. Children and Minors
Our services are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children or minors under the age of 18. SEW does not sell personal information within the meaning of applicable privacy laws. You also may have the right to appeal our decision if we deny your request. We will verify your identity and respond within the time required by law, typically within forty-five days, and will explain our decision and your appeal options if we deny your request.

Although most changes are likely to be minor, SEW may change its Privacy Policy from time to time, and in SEW’s sole discretion. SEW encourages visitors and customers to frequently check this page for any changes to its Privacy Policy.
