Local to Global Solutions
Waterborne disease is the planet’s leading killer. It’s no surprise when you consider that three out of ten people worldwide lack access to a safe, reliable source of water in their home. Every 90 seconds, a child dies due to waterborne diseases, but there is a lot that we can do together to help. Today, when Solar Energy World installs a solar system for you, we make a donation that goes to providing GivePower’s solar-powered water purification solutions to developing regions of the world, so children and their parents never have to drink toxic, dirty water again.
One Installation = 20 Years of Clean Water
For every solar panel system that Solar Energy World installs, we make a donation to GivePower to support their commitment to providing a cleaner, healthier future for underserved communities around the world. Each installation provides the resources necessary to give one person access to safe drinking water for at least 20 years.
In June of 2025, Solar Energy World celebrated a historic milestone: 10,000 systems installed since the beginning of our partnership with GivePower. That means 10,000 people in developing area of the globe can rely on clean drinking water for the next 20 years. Solar Energy World is proud to support our global communities, and to continue our mission along with GivePower to providing a cleaner, brighter future for all.
