Wyatt Everhart

Media and Communications Manager

After completing active duty in the United States Coast Guard and attending college on the G.I. Bill, Wyatt Everhart spent nearly two decades working in broadcast meteorology, producing forecasts and reporting weather on-air for television stations across the country. Along the way, he earned an Emmy Award, as well as the American Meteorological Society’s Seal of Approval for his work as a broadcaster.

Ready for a new challenge, Wyatt entered the solar industry in 2018, joining the sales team at Solar Energy World and helping hundreds of homeowners successfully transition to solar power in just his first few years.

In 2023, he shifted his focus to the company’s marketing and communications division, resolving to expand Solar Energy World’s social media and online video presence. His work has included creating and hosting the weekly Solar Powered Minute segment on WJLA-TV / Good Morning Washington, as well as producing and co-hosting the Powered Up podcast series with WTOP News Radio.

When he’s not helping people make sense of the latest energy news, he enjoys spending time on the water, along with his wife, son, and three dogs.
